thank you. I've put off doing this for months (hand wringing) because I couldn't figure out how to loosen the tension...assumed there must be a tension screw somewhere, didn't find one. ok, no excuse to postpone. thanks again for posting this.

Thanks, was able to replace the belt on my Haier XQJ50-31, took a while and some force to 'spin' the belt in place.
Just got to an auto part store and ask for a 3L160 Belt and bring yours in to compare, might take a few days for them to get it but good chance it will be much sooner, far quicker, and made of better quality. Plus the new belt will be just a little be smaller so it will work better. I got my replacement belt from Napa on the same day.
I love my washer however I have a almost grinding noise if I use it on high water level. How do you fix this? I know there's probably something I need to adjust underneath I'm just not sure what thank you.
Funny it looks just like my full size Haier washing machine underneath.. same set up and motors look almost the same, amazing a little motor spins my machine very fast.. clothes come out almost dry, only difference is it's not a V belt on the full size machine

My Haier won't pump water out, but will spin. Logic tells me its the pump? Anyone ever replace pump
OMG why not remove 4 bolts for that rectangle support bracket... instead of fighting trying to fit the belt between that and the pulley... yet you made a video... dumbfounded. I suppose no tools?
